USER MANUAL
Important: Read this manual before using the sauna.
Warnings
High Temperatures: Prolonged exposure to heat can cause hyperthermia (dangerously high body temperature). Symptoms include dizziness, fatigue, and fainting. Always use the sauna with others present.
Substance Use: Avoid alcohol, drugs, or medications before using the sauna. Pregnant women or people with health concerns should consult a doctor before use.
Fire and Burn Hazard: Do not hang towels or any objects on the heater. The sauna gets very hot – avoid touching the stove or rocks. Keep children supervised.
Snow/Ice Risk: The sauna roof may accumulate snow/ice. Clear it before approaching.
Equipment Set-Up
Space Requirements: Ensure a driveway of at least 10 feet wide, 20 feet long, and 12 feet high. Ground should be level, clear of snow or ice.
Using the Sauna
Heating the Sauna: Only use dry, split hardwood. Allow 45-60 minutes to preheat. Always clean the grate and empty the ash pan before starting a fire. Check fire every 20 minutes and add wood as needed. Temperature should reach 150°F before use.
Adjusting Temperature: Control temperature by adding wood or adjusting the vent near the door. If it’s too hot, go outside or open the door.
After Your Sauna Session
Let the fire die down naturally—do not put it out with water. Wait until the stove and ashes are cool before cleaning.
What Not to Bring
No food, drinks (except water), electronics, lotions, or creams inside the sauna.
Avoid eating 1-2 hours before your session.
Sauna Procedure
Session Time: Typical sauna sessions are 3 rounds of 7-20 minutes each. Take breaks in between to cool down.
Minors: All users under 18 must be supervised by an adult.
Clothing: Wear at least a swimsuit. Towels are recommended for hygiene. Sauna hats are provided and washed after each use.
First Round: Start with shorter sessions, around 170-190°F. Gradually increase time as your body adjusts.
Cool Down: After each session, cool off with a shower, dip in water, or just rest. Drink water, avoid alcohol, and rest for at least as long as you spent in the sauna before going back in.
Final Round: End with a final cool-off and hydration.
